3PL PRICING AND WAREHOUSE STORAGE FEES | JERSEY CITY, NJ

3PL pricing at Phoenix Warehouse is quoted per account based on your actual operation: how much inventory you store, how many orders you ship, how freight arrives, and what value-added services you need. Fill out the form below and most clients receive a response within one business day.

HOW 3PL PRICING WORKS

What Affects Your Quote

The main factors that affect your 3PL pricing are order volume, SKU count, average order size, inbound frequency, storage footprint, and whether you need EDI compliance for retail distribution.

High-volume clients with predictable, fast-turning inventory generally get better effective rates across all fee categories. Brands with complex operations: multiple retail EDI connections, kitting requirements, bonded storage. These have more moving parts that need to be scoped individually.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does 3PL fulfillment cost?

3PL fulfillment cost depends on four fee categories: inbound receiving when freight arrives, monthly storage per pallet position or cubic foot, pick and pack fees per order, and outbound carrier charges. Total cost varies based on your order volume, SKU count, average order size, and whether you need retail EDI compliance or value-added services like kitting and FBA prep. The best way to get an accurate number is to fill out our quote form with your actual operation details.

A 3PL cost calculator is a tool that estimates your monthly warehousing and fulfillment costs based on inputs like order volume, SKU count, pallet count, and average order size. Most calculators give a rough range. At Phoenix Warehouse, we skip the estimate and build a line-item quote directly from your actual operation. The right answer depends on how your freight arrives, what you ship, and where it goes.

Warehouse storage fees cover the space your inventory occupies inside the 3PL facility. At Phoenix Warehouse, storage is charged per pallet position per month for pallet-stored goods, or by cubic foot for bin locations holding smaller SKUs. The monthly rate depends on how much inventory you hold and how fast it moves. Fast-turning accounts with consistent inbound typically have a lower effective storage cost per unit.

Pick and pack fees are the per-order charges a 3PL applies to pull items from storage, pack them to your spec, label them, and hand off to the carrier. Most 3PLs charge a base fee per order plus a per-item fee for multi-line orders. At Phoenix Warehouse, pick and pack fees cover picking, packing, standard labeling, and carrier handoff. Custom packaging, kitting, or special handling instructions are quoted separately.

Phoenix Warehouse does not publish a hard order minimum. That said, accounts with very low monthly volumes may not get the same rate efficiency as higher-volume clients. During onboarding we assess your volume profile, SKU mix, and storage footprint to determine whether Phoenix is the right fit and what your pricing structure looks like. Fill out the quote form to start that conversation.

Beyond storage and pick and pack, 3PL warehouse costs to plan for include inbound receiving fees (per pallet, carton, or hour depending on how freight arrives), outbound carrier charges passed through at negotiated rates, EDI setup and transaction fees for retail distribution, and value-added service fees for kitting, FBA prep, co-packing, relabeling, or palletizing. Each of these is quoted separately based on your actual operation.

Most clients receive a response within one business day of submitting the quote form. A complete quote requires your SKU count, average monthly order volume, pallet count, inbound frequency, and a description of any special handling needs. The more detail you provide, the faster we can turn around an accurate number. Complex accounts with retail EDI or multiple value-added services may take an extra day to scope.
